- Q: When is the fair?
- A: The Jefferson County Fair is the last full weekend in August (the weekend before Labor Day weekend). The 2007 fair is August 24-27.
- Q: Who can enter the fair or horse show?
- A: You must be a Jefferson County resident in order to enter exhibits in the fair or to enter the kid's horse show and rodeo.
- Q: When are the rodeos & how much do they cost?
- A: The rodeo starts at 2 on Saturday and Sunday, and costs $6 (adults) and $3 for kids (ages 6-12). The Wrangler Roundup, on Thursday at 1, is free, and it costs $2 for the Bi-County Rodeo, Friday at 5:30 pm.
- Q: How do I enter the Wrangler Roundup or the sheep riding contest?
- A: Call 225-3234 between 4 and 6 on Monday of fair & rodeo week.
- Q: How do I enter the Rodeo Parade?
- A: Show up by 11:00 Saturday, in front of the Baptist Church just off Main Street, to sign up. The parade starts at noon.
- Q: What are the entry deadlines?
- A: The fair booklet lists all deadlines & is available in local businesses in July. Email bullheadm@aol.com for fair and kid's horse show deadlines, & anikmccauley@aol.com for rodeo, wrangler roundup, and sheep riding entry deadlines.
