The office is located in the Criminal Justice Building between the Justice Court and the Sheriff's Department in Boulder. The Victim Advocate for Jefferson County is Ed Krasinski. Mr. Krasinski works through the County Attorney's office and provides a wide variety of services to victims within the county, free of charge. These services include crisis counseling, assistance with orders of protection, help understanding the criminal justice system, assistance with compensation and restitution, assistance and referrals to other community services and resources.
